Dr. Pasco has been practicing for nearly two decades. In the mid-2000s she became an MGE client, and took to the management and executive training quickly! By the time she completed the MGE program she had more than quadrupled her patient base and production at her New York practice.
Later on, she relocated to Pittsburgh, and within just three years had created a wildly successful practice from scratch. Now she splits her time between her practice and operating as one of MGE’s Senior Seminar Instructors, helping other dentists achieve similar success.
Shortly after Graduating from the University Of Nebraska College Of Dentistry in 1998, Dr. Sudman moved to and practiced in the Chicagoland area for over a decade before opening his own office in 2011. Realizing that he was going to need more than just a good work ethic to thrive in the post Great Recession era, Dr. Sudman enrolled in the MGE Power Program to become a better leader and to gain better control of his business.
Through diligent application of the MGE Program principles, Dr. Sudman has more than doubled his collections and dramatically increased profitability, while at the same time dropping all but one PPO. Inspired by his own experience, Dr. Sudman jumped at the opportunity to lecture at MGE seminars and help his colleagues master the business side of dentistry.
Dr. Aleksandr Dayanayev, along with his partner Dr. Albert Malakov, opened the doors to their practice in 2000. Over the following decade, they went through virtually every stress, problem, or difficulty a dentist in practice could possibly experience.
In 2010, Drs. Dayanayev and Malakov enrolled in the MGE Power Program to master the business side of dentistry. In just three years, they dropped all of their HMOs (18,000 patients!) while nearly tripling their collections (from approx. $1.3 million/year up to $3.6 million/year) and seeing more than 150 new patients per month!
An entertaining and informative speaker, Dr. Dayanayev has most importantly been in “the trenches” himself and knows exactly what it takes for any dentist to achieve growth and fulfillment.
A 1987 graduate of Northwestern University Dental School with more than 5,000 credit hours of continuing education, Dr. Smoler works diligently to stay abreast of the latest techniques and trends in dentistry. In that same vein, Dr. Smoler became a client of MGE in 2010.
Using the practice management information from the MGE Program, Dr. Smoler expanded his $1 million practice into a tremendously efficient fee-for-service office on track to collect almost $2 million this year. Dr. Smoler is also the founder of the Southeast Michigan Implant Learning Exchange (SMILE) club where he helps mentor fellow dentists in all aspects of implant dentistry and has lectured locally, regionally, and nationally on both clinical and management related topics.
After close to nine years in practice, Dr. Oscar Marin was still facing a number of all too familiar practice management issues: how to control expenses and maximize profitability; how to properly manage his staff; and how to get patients to understand and accept needed treatment.
Actively searching for a solution, he decided to enroll in the MGE Power Program in early 2009. And success came fast! Within six months his practice was up by 400% and he’d moved to a new facility. He also dropped all of his HMOs and MediCal.
Dr. Marin is passionate about continuing education to improve his ability to help patients achieve their dental goals, as well as helping colleagues achieve fulfillment in their careers through increased practice management efficiency. He is a member of the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Doan graduated from USC School of Dentistry in 2002 and opened a scratch practice right away. Things were going well the first few years as the practice grew along with the good economy at that time. Then, the housing bubble burst in 2008 and the economy crashed in California. The phone stopped ringing and patients didn’t want to spend any money on teeth.
She tried many things: spending more money on marketing, taking CE on ortho and implants so she doesn’t have to refer out, having a consultant come in once a week. Nothing worked. She thought to herself: I might have to associate at another office to keep my office afloat.
Then she received a promo to get more quality new patients from MGE. Through MGE she has gained a solid understanding of building/running a dental office and has expanded her practice tenfold, from an average of $30,000 to over $300,000 per month ($3.6 million annually).
Her practice runs smoothly, her patients are happier than ever and she has built a dental team that she really enjoys coming in to work with. She loves sharing the knowledge she has gained with her colleagues.
Khang C. Nguyen, DDS, is a graduate of New York University, College of Dentistry and has been a client of MGE since March of 2008. Applying the principles from the MGE program, Dr. Nguyen has transformed his practice from a 90% PPO office, collecting about $25,000 per month, into a $230,000 per month practice with less than 5% PPO participation. Despite dropping plans, Dr. Nguyen’s new patients have also improved from 30 to close to 77 per month.
Committed to providing the best dental care possible for his patients, Dr. Nguyen devotes much of his time to continuing education with a strong focus on endodontics, orthodontics and implant dentistry. An entertaining yet very practical speaker, Dr. Nguyen enjoys sharing his successful actions with his fellow dentists.
Gregory A. Winteregg, D.D.S is a graduate of the Indiana School of Dentistry and was an MGE Management Experts client for 18 months prior to becoming a partner in the company in 1994.
When he first became a client in 1992, he had an average practice in a town of 10,000 people with twelve other dentists. Within twelve months of starting the MGE Management Experts program and applying the principles learned Dr. Winteregg was able to bring new patients from 10 to 70 per month on average (with no managed care); double practice revenues; assemble a great staff, and ultimately become one of the top four percent (4%) of practices nationally. While accomplishing all of this, he was also able to reduce his workweek to 22 ½ hours per week.
In 1994, Dr. Winteregg decided to sell his practice and join MGE Management Experts as a partner. Since that time he has dedicated his career to teaching other doctors the tools he learned which enabled him to take control of his practice.

Laura Hatch is the founder and CEO of Front Office Rocks, the leader in web-based front office training for dental practices. Front Office Rocks was founded when Laura recognized a desire to share her successes with her fellow dental practices. Laura earned her Masters in Organizational Development from Johns Hopkins University and has worked with her husband, Dr. Anthony Hatch, to start and grow two extremely successful dental practices, one outside of Baltimore, MD and their current office in San Diego, CA, to million dollar production offices. They are fee for service practices with a staff of over 16 that are focused on exceptional customer service and average about 80 new patients per month. Jeff Santone holds a Master’s degree in Economics from George Washington University and was a Senior Financial Analyst at the Federal Reserve Board of Governors for six years. He then joined his wife, Dr. Virginia Lee, as the business manager of Capital Oral & Facial Surgery Center. In 2007, Mr. Santone enrolled in and completed the MGE Executive Training Program. Applying his expertise in the areas of management, personnel, finance and marketing, he has been instrumental in transforming Capital Oral & Facial Surgery Center into one of the top specialist practices in the DC Metro area. A model of efficiency, the office has seen a collections increase of 400%—$50,000 per month to well in excess of $200,000 per month, with only one doctor.
An extraordinary entrepreneur and engineer, with master’s degrees in Computers and Finance, and also trained as an executive by MGE, Mr. Trivedi owns and manages several businesses in the New York area. Beginning with his wife’s small dental practice, Mr. Trivedi created two thriving practices which collected $7,000,000 last year. He is well-versed in all areas of practice management and truly understands the formula for creating a successful business. Mr. Trivedi is extremely popular with audiences, due in no small part to his passion for sharing what he has learned with others and helping them succeed.
Luis A. Colón is President and CEO of MGE Management Experts a nationwide leader among executive training and seminar firms and is listed in the Who’s Who of American Business.
